The programme is designed for individuals with or aspiring to a basic engineering education – beginners or professionals working with computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools and developing machining programmes using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) systems. The duration of the programme is 80 academic hours, of which 54 academic hours are contact hours and 26 academic hours are independent work. Participants who complete the programme will be able to apply software (SolidWorks CAM, Fusion 360) to develop machining programmes for CNC (Computer Numerical Control) equipment. A certificate of completion of the non-formal education programme is awarded upon positive assessment of the competences acquired, and credits are granted, recognised in accordance with the procedures established by the higher education institution.

Dr. Ramūnas Česnavičius is an associate professor at Kaunas University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Design, Doctor of Technology, with more than 18 years of experience working at the university and more than 4 years of practical work experience in designing of mechanical systems, and also has many years of experience in teaching students Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) subjects.
