About this course

This training programme is designed for all adults interested in strengthening their research skills by applying qualitative data analysis methods. Participants will explore different types of qualitative research, their application potential and limitations and will learn to combine various methods in mixed research designs. The course focuses on the full content analysis process – from creating coding schemes to applying analysis in practice using specialised software (MAXQDA). It also covers systematic literature review, social media and network analysis, qualitative comparative analysis, and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Participants will develop skills in designing research instruments and preparing research reports. Emphasis is placed on ethical practices and data protection. The acquired competencies will be applicable in educational, business, or other social science research settings.

 

You will learn:

  • to identify and apply various types of qualitative research and analysis methods;
  • to combine qualitative and quantitative methods in mixed research designs;
  • to design research structures, coding frameworks and instruments;
  • to use MAXQDA software for qualitative data analysis;
  • to conduct literature reviews, media, network and comparative analysis;
  • to follow ethical research standards and data protection regulations.
