About this course

The Building Information Management (BIM) programme is designed to provide developers (developers), planners, designers, construction professionals or experts, building users and asset managers with an understanding of the basic principles of building information management, the overall data environment, information requirements, data exchange standards and the use of information. The programme is based on material from BIM expert Phil Jackson and on the experience of the UK construction sector, and is designed to help civil engineers, architects or other professionals working with buildings to work in a digital environment.

 

You will learn:

How to use building information. You will gain knowledge about the meaning of building information, the value of digitisation and the possibilities for use. How to manage the development of digital building information throughout the entire life cycle of a building (planning, design, construction, use).
