About this course

This course is designed for: - Company managers. - Business and financial analysts. - Managers, heads of departments and specialists of all types and ranks responsible for a specific subject area. - Anyone interested in Business Intelligence and its application. In this course, you will learn how to work independently with Microsoft Excel, a popular software for analysing numerical business data, and analyse large volumes of data using this software. Microsoft Excel has a rich set of different data analysis tools. The course material is divided into 3 parts. The first part contains 7 assignments for Excel spreadsheet data analysis and the second part contains 4 assignments for Excel business charts. The third part is dedicated to pivot tables and contains 12 assignments and detailed instructions. Detailed training material will be provided for the learners.

 

You will learn:

You will learn about the possibilities of analysing Excel tables and how to use pivot tables to analyse large volumes of data with complex structures. You will also learn how to load data from Excel workbooks, Access and SQL Server data into the Excel internal model. The main expected outcomes of this training are to analyse the performance of companies and organisations based on the available large amounts of digital information. You will acquire the following professional competencies: - Know how to import business intelligence output data from databases and Excel files. - Analyse this data using business charts and pivot tables. - Create interactive dashboards for data analysis with rich visualisations and use them for decision-making.
