The programme is intended for professionals in fashion, textiles, and garment manufacturing, as well as anyone wishing to acquire practical skills in garment pattern grading. Participants will learn to use size charts, apply grading methods, take measurements of patterns and perform corrections to ensure the accuracy of all sizes and heights. The training combines theoretical knowledge with practical sessions and individual consultations to help deepen competences and apply them in real production scenarios. This programme is particularly relevant for those changing careers or starting work with new garment manufacturing technologies.

Kristina Ancutienė is an associate professor at the KTU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Design, a doctor of technology with more than 15 years of work experience at the university and 4 years of practical work experience as a pattern designer working with CAD Lectra at a company. She teaches modules on computer-aided clothing design using Lectra and Gerber Technology software packages, and lectures on digital fashion technology and virtual fitting and 3D visualisation. Research and expert experience in the research and evaluation of comfort and quality of clothing products using 3D virtual fitting technologies, assessing the influence of mechanical properties of textile materials. She is actively interested in the topics of computer-aided design, digital fashion, VR, AR, XR and AI.
Training is designed for individuals who seek to learn the basics of garment construction and design, including digital design tools.
