The Teacher Development Programme is designed for chemistry teachers who would like to improve their knowledge in inorganic chemistry, chemical kinetics and equilibrium. The workshop will explore possible solutions to more complex problems (mass fraction and molar concentrations of solutions, "plate" problems, yield, impurity and excess problems); the comparison of oxidation-reduction reactions by electron and ion-electron balance methods; the theory of chemical kinetics and equilibrium, and the methods for solving the problems. Optional practical work will be available (preparation of a solution at the desired concentration, oxidation-reduction reactions, chemical kinetics and equilibrium, etc.).
Deepen your knowledge in the fields of inorganic chemistry, chemical kinetics, and chemical equilibrium; Solve more complex chemistry problems, such as: - mass fraction and molar concentration calculations, - “plate” problems, - problems involving yield, impurities, and excess reagents; Apply electron and ion-electron balance methods to balance redox reactions; Explore the theoretical aspects of chemical kinetics and chemical equilibrium; Apply theoretical knowledge in practice by performing laboratory tasks (solution preparation, redox reactions, chemical kinetics and equilibrium experiments, etc.); Select and independently carry out relevant practical experiments to strengthen subject-specific and methodological competencies.

More than 35 years of experience teaching chemistry modules, excellent student evaluations, awards for innovation and quality improvement in studies, as well as preparing assignments for schoolchildren competitions, giving lectures and conducting practical classes for the public.
The lecturer is a PhD in chemistry and has worked for many years with Lithuanian grammar and secondary school students. She gives theoretical lectures, exercises and practical classes for students, as well as preparatory lectures for the chemistry state matriculation exam for graduates and experience-sharing seminars for teachers. She is an expert in the "STEAM Ecosystem Development" Project.
Kristina Kantminienė is a doctor of natural sciences, associate professor at the Department of Physical and Inorganic Chemistry, Kaunas University of Technology. Her experience in pedagogical work is over 25 years. She teachers the following study courses: "General Chemistry", "Chemical analysis", and "Chemical and instrumental analysis"; is the co-author of the study module in MOODLE "Chemistry leveling training". In 2020, together with the colleagues, she was awarded for innovation and quality in studies in the KTU most innovative teacher competition. For many years, she has been conducting practical classes for students of Lithuanian gymnasiums, secondary schools and pro-gymnasiums, as well as consultations/lectures helping the last-year school students to prepare for the state graduation examination in chemistry.
I have been working at KTU Faculty of Chemical Technology since 1995, and in 2009 I was awarded the degree of Doctor of Science in Technology. Since the first academic year of my Ph. I have been involved in the preparation of practical tasks for the first Jonas Janicki Chemistry Competition (1997) and theoretical tasks since 2012. From 2012 to the present, I have been judging the entries of the contestants. Since 2011, I have been actively involved in educational activities: conducting laboratory work for Lithuanian schoolchildren, consulting and conducting laboratory work for those preparing to take the State Chemistry Examination and for the participants of the Lithuanian Chemistry Olympiad and competitions. I work individually with gifted students from Kaunas city, including prizewinners of Lithuanian Chemistry Olympiads and students of KTU Faculty of Chemical Technology. In 2021–2022, I prepared and conducted virtual chemistry tutorials for graduates.
Neringa Petrašauskienė is a Doctor of Physical Sciences (Chemistry), Associate Professor at Kaunas University of Technology. She has more than 20 years of teaching experience. She conducts experimental classes at science popularization events such a Tyrėjų naktis“, „Erdvėlaivis Žemė“, „Chemikų dienos“. For many years she has been teaching theoretical and practical courses to Lithuanian high school and gymnasium students.
Edita Paluckiene is a PhD in chemistry and has worked for many years with Lithuanian grammar and secondary school students. Her experience in pedagogical work is over 25 years.
