The programme is intended for lecturers, researchers, and other professionals conducting economic research or supervising thesis work that involves quantitative methods. Participants will become familiar with modern econometric techniques – correlation and regression analysis, time series models, and causality assessment methods – and their application in economics, business, and social science research. The training combines theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, enabling participants to select the most appropriate model, assess its quality, make forecasts and use dedicated software. Acquired competences will allow participants to independently develop and apply econometric models in both academic and practical contexts.
