About this course

The program is designed for principals and teachers in general education schools who are responsible for analyzing students’ academic performance and monitoring school quality. Participants will gain knowledge about student performance data, indicators, accessibility, quality, and interpretation. They will learn to apply calculation methodologies for performance indicators and strengthen their skills in data analysis and educational research. In practical workshops, participants will use analytics tools adapted for schools, enabling them to forecast outcomes, identify at-risk groups, monitor progress, and implement individualized interventions. The program is based on the latest learning analytics and educational data mining technologies, aligns with the “Lithuania 2050” vision and the objectives of the National Progress Plan, and promotes evidence-based improvements in teaching and school management.

 

You will learn:

  • to recognize and analyze different types of student performance data;
  • to assess the quality of data and its applicability for school improvement;
  • to become familiar with key performance indicators and their calculation methodologies;
  • to learn methods for transforming data and exploring their applications;
  • to acquire practical skills using analytics tools designed for schools;
  • to forecast student performance and identify at-risk groups;
  • to monitor student progress and plan individualized interventions;
  • to interpret analytics results and make evidence-based decisions;
  • to improve teaching and leadership practices based on data analysis.
