The training is intended for researchers from the fields of social sciences and humanities wishing to start working with the software environment for statistical computing and graphics, namely, R. It is currently one of the most popular freeware environments for statistical analysis. Its main advantages are revealed in research reproducibility, wide opportunities of graphical representation and diversity of available statistical methods. Training is interactive and aims to show possible applications of R in the descriptive analysis of quantitative data and graphical representation of analysis results. After the training, participants will be able to start using R independently.
Learning outcomes will include skills and knowledge of using the software environment R for statistical analysis and graphics. The training is aimed at researchers in the fields of social sciences and humanities who want to start working with R. The interactive training will demonstrate the application possibilities of R in the fields of quantitative data analysis and creating the visualisations of the results. After completing the training, the participant will be able to work independently with R.
