About this course

The training is intended for food industry professionals responsible for selecting and labelling nutrition and health claims, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and transparent communication with consumers. Participants will gain knowledge of EU and national regulations, types of permissible claims, formulation requirements, and labelling rules. The course covers practical sequences for claim searches, reliable information sources, and the use of scientifically substantiated evidence. Attendees will learn to identify misleading claims, analyse good labelling practices (for food and supplements), critically evaluate available information, and avoid common mistakes. Theory is combined with practical tasks, enabling participants to apply their knowledge in real workplace scenarios.
