The programme is dedicated to increasing the knowledge of transport professionals and everyday car users about passive and active safety systems in cars. Their structure, operating principles, interaction and performance. The training provides information on how to assess the safety of vehicles and how to prioritise the technical requirements for vehicles.

Dr. Darius Juodvalkis is an associate professor working in the research group "Vehicle Engineering" (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Design, KTU). His research interests include vehicle safety systems, vehicle stability and alternative powertrains in vehicles.
Numerical simulation of plastic moulding enables early identification of potential defects and optimization of part geometry and moulding parameters.
