Physical Experiments’ Workshop for Educators

About this course

About this course

The training is designed for general education physics teachers seeking to develop modern, practice-based learning content supported by experimental demonstrations. Participants will deepen their knowledge in thermodynamics, electromagnetism and optics, enhance their ability to create flexible teaching content using technical and digital tools. The programme applies experiential learning methods, including hands-on activities, reflections and discussions with physicist researchers. It fosters the development of scientific, digital and communication competences essential for modern teaching practice. Upon completion, teachers will be able to apply diverse demonstration strategies, design and adapt physics experiments and actively engage students in the learning process. A certificate and ECTS credits recognised by higher education institutions are awarded upon successful evaluation.

You will learn:

  • to evaluate the practical value of physical phenomena in the learning process;
  • to select suitable experiments according to topic and student age;
  • to design and build physics demonstrations using available resources;
  • to apply experiential learning principles in the classroom;
  • to critically assess the effectiveness of demonstrations in lessons.
