The aim of the training is to provide practical project management skills based on international best practices and standards. The program includes not only theoretical knowledge but also active practical exercises that help participants apply their skills in real-life situations. The training covers topics such as the project management environment, planning, risk and quality management, procurement and contract management, effective communication, team management, and project closure.
Identify international project management standards (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile). Understand the project life cycle and the roles of project stakeholders. Plan project scope, time, resources, and costs. Use Gantt charts and the Critical Path Method (CPM). Manage risks and apply quality management principles (e.g., Deming cycle). Organize procurement and choose appropriate types of contracts. Apply effective communication strategies in projects. Engage stakeholders and organize team meetings. Lead a team, motivate, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts. Ensure smooth project closure and summarize lessons learned.

Dr. Rūta Čiutienė Experienced project management expert and certified coach (ICF). Teaches project management at Kaunas University of Technology and conducts training for various organizations. Has extensive experience managing international projects, collaborating with partners from academia, business, and the public sector. Actively involved in the "Project Management Academy," where she shares knowledge and practical experience with aspiring project managers.
Dr. Evelina Meilienė has PhD in Social Sciences (Economics) at Kaunas University of Technology, specializing in national competitiveness, innovation, and technology-based companies. She has extensive experience as a project manager and teaches project and change management at the university. She provides training for business and public sector organizations and is a certified project manager (IPMA C) and Adizes methodology integrator.
Dr. Meda Andrijauskienė associate Professor at KTU School of Economics and Business with over 10 years of experience in leading projects across public, non-governmental, and private sectors. Holds a dual master’s degree in project management. Actively mentors, consults, and participates in hackathons and competitions.
