This course is designed for researchers, doctoral students, project managers, and research administrators interested in responsible research and innovation. Participants will explore key aspects of research ethics, including data protection, open science, integrity, and institutional practices. The programme covers ethical theory application, GDPR obligations, data openness, authorship issues, whistleblowing and ethical considerations in citizen science. Through theoretical insights and practical tools, the course develops participants’ ability to evaluate ethical risks, promote responsible conduct of research and foster ethical research cultures within organisations.

Dr. Raminta Pučėtaitė, Associate Professor at KTU, whose research interests include research and academic ethics management, responsible research and innovation, citizen science, and corporate social responsibility. She has lectured on research ethics to the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU) SMART Academy, the University of Bologna, and Vilnius University PhD students. She is also a member of the KTU Research Ethics Committee.
