The programme is designed to introduce the principles of sustainable construction, global and European trends, life cycle analysis, environmental product declaration and circular construction to all players in the construction sector. The aim is to provide knowledge of the context of sustainable development and the environmental issues related to the construction sector, to introduce new European Union initiatives, and to develop the ability to critically discuss and evaluate the relevant context.

Dr. Lina Šeduikytė is a professor working in the research group "Sustainable Energy in Urbanised Environments" (Faculty of Construction and Architecture, KTU). Her research interests include: sustainable development in the construction sector, environmental issues, CO2 emissions and buildings, environmental product declarations, principles of circular construction, life cycle analysis in the context of sustainable construction, environmental impact assessment of buildings and building materials.
Dr. Eglė Klumbytė is an associate professor working in the research group "Sustainable Energy in Urbanised Environments" (Faculty of Construction and Architecture, KTU). Her research interests include: building life cycle analysis assessment, construction management, building management using digital tools, construction economics and legal regulation of construction.
Dr. Aleksandras Arūnas Navickas is an associate professor working in the research group "Building Materials, Structures and Technologies" (Faculty of Construction and Architecture, KTU). His research interests include Building Information Modelling (BIM), building life cycle analysis assessment, environmental product declarations.
