About this course

This course is designed for individuals without a teaching qualification who plan to work in vocational education or non-formal children's education (excluding preschool and pre-primary levels). Participants will acquire basic knowledge in pedagogy, psychology and didactics, essential for effectively educating learners across various learning situations. The programme covers educational goals, assessment methods, student development, teacher roles, classroom communication, special education regulations, conflict resolution and planning of non-formal educational activities. Emphasis is placed on applying theoretical knowledge in practical contexts to prepare future educators for responsible and professional engagement in educational environments.

 

You will learn:

  • to understand the basics of pedagogy, psychology and didactics needed for learner development;
  • to apply pedagogical principles and psychological patterns in practical teaching situations;
  • to assess students’ individual achievements and progress;
  • to identify personality and communication traits of students of different ages;
  • to recognise the teacher’s role, responsibilities and the importance of collaboration;
  • to plan and organise educational activities using modern strategies and methods;
  • to prepare non-formal education plans and give constructive feedback to students.
