The course is designed to learn how to work with one of the most popular business intelligence software in Lithuania and worldwide - Microsoft Power BI Desktop. The course will introduce to you and, hopefully, teach you how to analyse large volume data using this software. It has a rich set of different data analysis tools. The course material is divided into 14 topics with detailed slides and videos of as many as 23 assignments.
- How to create interactive Power BI Desktop reports for data analysis with rich visualisations and use them for decision-making. - Get familiar with a new and advanced tool for analysing large volume data with structures to solve business intelligence challenges. - Learn how to create Power BI visualisations and reports and analyse them interactively. - Learn how to create custom visualisations and create visualisations with a Q&A tool. - Learn how to perform Power BI Desktop calculations with automated and user-defined measures, as well as quick measures.

Dr. Vigintas Šakys is an associate professor at Kaunas University of Technology and a nationally renowned specialist in information technology training. Thousands of local students and graduates have studied and are still studying with the help of textbooks and books written by this specialist, of which he has published more than 20, alone and with co-authors. In recent years, V. Šakys has authored and published a large-scale modern textbook on business intelligence for graduates and students of higher education institutions, as well as several educational books, including a practice book on business intelligence and a remote slide book with video recordings of assignments. The training material contained in these books has been used in the preparation of these training courses.
